The client aimed to establish an online presence that captured the essence of a design boutique. The goal was to build a website that highlighted the elegance and craftsmanship of the products, ensuring the site complemented rather than dominated their aesthetic.
- In In India, metal furniture is often perceived as affordable but uncomfortable, mainly reserved for large outdoor events. In contrast, Nama's collection stood out for its distinctive and exclusive look, combined with exceptional durability & everyday comfort.
- Our challenge was to creatively showcase these pieces as both statement items and versatile options for daily use, indoors and out. We had to achieve this balance while ensuring that our design complemented rather than outshone the products. It was no small task.
- Competition in the domestic market was relatively limited. Most local websites followed basic, template-driven designs or were starter sites created on free platforms.
- In contrast, global competition presented a different challenge, with many inspiring design houses showcasing websites that ranged from functional to elaborate.
- A thorough analysis brought valuable clarity on positioning Nama Home in a way that honored its unique personality and aesthetic.
- We drew inspiration from both the brand's logo and its products. The arch in the uppercase 'A' of the NAMA logo mirrored the graceful arches found in ancient Indian architecture, symbolizing an open gateway that warmly welcomes visitors.
- This theme became the foundation of our design layout, enriched by CSS animations that brought interactive elements like navigation, pop-ups, and page transitions to life.
- In parallel, we collaborated with the client to perfect the typography and color palette. We chose a combination of matte grey with silver and gold gradient accents, creating a metallic texture that reinforced the 'Minimal Metal' theme for the site.
Website yielded significant results:
- 5,000 global visitors to the website within the first month of launching.
- 25,000 page views within the second month of the website's launch.
